A Peek in the Window at Me

This page will be a work in progress... just like me.  For now I would like to give some insight about why I am writing a blog and who I am.  First and foremost, I am a born again, God loving, tongue talking, jumpin', dancin', shoutin', singin' Christian.  I have no intentions of beating anyone over the head with my favorite book but I will not hide who I am or what I believe.  I pray that this does not offend anyone, but if it does, please forgive me.  I hope that you will still find something useful or interesting on my blog.

I love my family, my animals, cooking, crocheting, reading, music and painting.  I am also a budding herbalist. (pun intended!)  I love that the plants around us have so much to offer without all of the crazy side effects of modern medicine.   (Oh, and as I take a sip, I am reminded that I love Chai Tea!)  That list does not define me but it is a good start.  As a stay at home mom I excel in some ways and struggle in others.  I like to think I am not abnormal for that.  If I am, please don't tell me.  I am a work in progress and believe God will help me improve in the order He thinks is best.

Of the last 35 years, at least 20 of them are filled with "Wow!  You did what?" moments.  I will share many on this blog and the rest, well, we will see.  As I tell you I am a Christian, I want to continually remind people (and myself) that I am a work in progress.  I may not be the woman that I should be but I am a far cry from the broken mess I was before.  When I start to beat myself up for some of the habits I have that I struggle with, I remember just how far I have come and what a difference having real and true Love, Grace and Mercy has made in my life.

I do hope that in sharing about myself and the ensuing Grace and Mercy from our Awesome God that maybe one or two people will be encouraged.  I also hope that you enjoy your stay here in my little "neverland."  I know I will grow in the building of this blog and would love to have a couple friends come along for the ride!

If you have questions or comments, I would love to hear from you and will respond as timely as I can.  Just send me an email at the link provided!  I have very little in my life that I will not share openly with just about anyone.

Until next time...

Peace, Love and pretty Yarn!

Jamie
